As a member of the Europe & MEA Regional Leadership Team, participates to the general management of the company and oversees all aspects of the EU & MEA Legal function, which serves as a strategic partner in achieving Onyx' business growth and development in the region with integrity and good corporate governance.

Proven track record as a key member of a centralized Legal Department in a fast-growing multinational pharmaceutical company, servicing the needs of the International HQ and 30+ Affiliates in EMEA and ASIA PAC. Operational experience covering legal and compliance issues in all stages of the pharmaceutical product life-cycle. Drafted policies and procedures. Managed 5 direct reports. Selected, instructed and supervised outside counsel.

Advised national and multinational life science clients on corporate transactions and regulatory matters. Started a solo practice, that merged with a boutique firm in February 2004. She became Partner of the Life Science Practice (M+BIOLAW) in December 2004 and was appointed Partner of the Group in January 2006. In the capacity of Life Science Practice Leader, managed a team and gained broad-based international experience representing life sciences, pharmaceutical and healthcare companies.

Supported the European operations of a multinational company in the capacity of the sole legal and compliance counsel for the EMEA region. Supervised outside counsel.

Provided legal advice and transactions support on strategic alliances and research collaborations, technology transfer matters, intellectual property law and general corporate matters. Was Principal to the President, supporting both the coordination of internal operations and the activities related to his concurrent role of President of the National Committee for Biotechnology and Biosafety within the Government.

Performed the 2 years mandatory Legal Apprenticeship and, after passing the Bar Exam, practiced law in a law firm specialized in civil litigation and family law. Participated in all aspects of civil litigation, including conducting pre-trial activities and researches, drafting documents and briefs, filing motions and representing clients in trials, hearings, arbitration and mediation before administrative agencies.
