Ataman Deniz

Working within highly skilled chassis team I am responsible of development, test and validation of various chassis system (steering, axles, brake etc...) covering both light and heavy commercial vehicles depending on the scope of projects.

As a chassis development team member, my main responsibilities were brake systems, pneumatics, suspension, advance driver assistance systems, articulation units, steering system and wheels of Vectio/Doruk & Kent/Territo buses.

Participated Ministry of Industry funded "Development of innovative multiaxis laminated composites and experimental & numerical analysis" project which is jointly developed by a sector leading naval design group.

As a team member of the Defense and Aeronautics Department, I participated in every stage of project life cycle beginning from writing project proposals to finished product documentations

Following subjects were investigated within the scope of M.Sc. thesis: • Mechanics of Fiber Bragg Gratings (FBG) sensors • Development of smart and advanced hybrid fiber reinforced composites • Composite manufacturing method design for sensor embedding

• Building a Micro Air Vehicle (MAV) and investigation of morphing wing concepts by active/smart materials • Simulation and analysis of 15 cm long wing at Reynolds region of 50.000 – 100.000 • Manufacturing aircraft with lightweight equipments and carbon fiber wing
