Über mich

My education background as Environmental Engineer gives me the potential of understanding and criticizing technologies and systems from a sustainable perspective. I have experience in research due to my studies in the University of Southern Denmark (Faculty of Engineering) and University of Patras (School of Engineering) where my theses were both included literature and laboratory work. Since April 2018, I am a PhD student at the Department of Environmental Engineering of the Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH) studying the atmospheric electric field (Potential Gradient) from its perspective as a tool for environmental and biological processes and as a tool for predicting natural disasters. My research focuses on analyzing data to study the interaction of atmospheric electric field with environmental and biological processes, and the role of it on predicting natural disasters, like earthquakes.

Another aspect that was studied was on how that change of temperature will affect or mitigate Heat Island Effect.
