The Innovation & Enterprise team I was in implements 4 funding schemes. I was helped the selection of venture capital firms to invest in Singapore-based early-stage technology start-ups and the building of NRF’s website. I was also responsible for doing diligence, company visits and investment memos. In addition, data gathering and preparation of NRF Holding’s quarterly presentation, as well as the quarterly Director’s report. I aided the Strategy and Operations department with planning Techventure 2014.

My task included detailed market analysis of the company's cloud-based product and clinics in Singapore. I had to engage with staff to directors of the clinics for better clinic analysis. I was also involved in the marketing and sales aspect through cold-calling and product demonstration to potential clients. I was involved with shaping of company's business approach.

I worked with the investment managers and senior partners on many different projects and tasks within the Venture Capital investment process. This involved sourcing, screening and evaluation of investment opportunities in nanotechnology and its related industries; The execution of a new investment in a Singapore-based start-up; Business development initiatives for some of existing portfolio holdings; Supporting activities such as PR and investor relations related tasks.
