Establishing a global quality team for harmonization and standardization of global quality procedures and within the BPS Systems organization worldwide. Optimization of the QMS and all relevant quality processes and methods across all sites within the Sartorius BPS Systems network. Supporting the manufacturing sites in harmonization and standardization of quality tools, methods and validation testing. Driving the complaint handling efficiently to ensure a high customer satisfaction level.

Responsible for planning and establishing an operative quality management system for stable processes to optimize and ensure quality and profitability. Close cooperation and communication with internal departments and with customers as well. Supporting the QM strategy by steering all activities to improve and stabilize the quality performance of the serial production.

Working closely together with suppliers in a proactive way to ensure that the delivered products are according to the specifications. Contribute a trouble-free start of serial production due to preventive quality planning along the sampling process according APQP/PPF and avoiding recursion loops. Driving the supplier development and qualification process to a higher level by running appropriate tools and methods.

Organization of a highly efficient product release process within R&D by implementation of smart and lean guidelines and front-loading activities. Driving efficiency improvement projects within R&D to optimize the test management of legal, customer specific and internal release tests. Supporting the QMS in R&D in general by managing QM related trainings to hold the quality mindset on a high level.

Ensuring high customer satisfaction by defect free printing plate approach. Installation of an intelligent testing management and direct communication to key account management. Managing the local Lean Six Sigma Initiative and organizing GB and BB projects to reduce complexity and cost of poor quality. Organization of trainings and network meetings with other locations. Implementation and maintaining an integrated management system including Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety.
