Master Thesis: “High-speed frontend boards for polarimeter” Tasks accomplished: • Hardware development. • Designing the frontend boards of a polarimeter with high sampling speed, achieving a bandwidth up to 1GHz along with low sensitivity and a good signal-to-noise-ratio. • Designing circuits with self-designed components. • Simulating using LTSPICE/TINA. • Selection of ICs and calculations. • PCB layout using Altium Designer. • Testing the final PCB and making the data sheets.

Project: “Designing PCBs for an ultrafast optical polarimeter with high sampling speed” Tasks accomplished: • Designing the frontend boards of a polarimeter with high sampling speed (less than 6ns). • Hardware development, production and testing. • Designing circuits, simulating and analysing using LTSPICE. • Selection of ICs and calculations for testing. • Designing PCB layout using Altium Designer. • Testing the final PCB and verifying the results. • Documenting the test results.

Worked as an internee at Siemens Pakistan with BUSINESS UNIT – Infrastructure Solutions (INF) at Karachi.
