Senior Planning and Programme Controls Consultant (Viking Link HVDC Interconnector). I developed complex effective programme management throughout the project development life-cycle, including project planning, resource planning, change management. Some of my key highlights are: I streamlined and structured all project control systems and procedures, including progress, budget, time schedule, and risk. I acted as a programme lead of UK Civils procurement for negotiating approach and tender’s assessment.

Senior Planning and Project Controls Consultant HVDC. I ensured project planning and controls capabilities for the global converter station deliveries for major clients. (HVDC). I performed fundamental role in leading the planning function for Lower Churchill project in Canada, controlling the time and cost requirements of the project. I conducted tender planning for South Korean HVDC project, supported the negotiations and attributed to the winning bid securing major project.

I analysed all requirements and provisions in contracts, including terms and conditions to assure compliance with all laws and regulations and company policies and procedures. I managed and coordinated contract administration activities, such as providing contract administration resources to bids and projects, ensuring that all aspects of the contract during the bidding and execution phase addressed with the objective of contributing to maximise project revenues.

I carried out the main project control responsibilities for London Power Tunnels (LPT), Security Solutions Integration (SSI), and Gas Transmission major projects. I supervised budget allocation on work schedules, cross verification, with the financial system through cooperation with team members. I held accountable for risk management of the cobra reporting system deployment and availability.

I delivered expert support and guidance to the project controls manager in the management of the capital delivery. I identified the qualitative and quantitative impact of the risk on the project by conducting risk analysis and ensuring compliance with best practice. I directed and motivated planning teams working on different programs and smoothed out any areas of possible conflict. I developed Primavera P6 architecture for National Grid.

As Programme Manager involved in the planning activities for overhead line asset replacement work on a large portfolio. Baseline planning for multiple projects followed up with monthly program updates. Developed Program reporting for the client. Resource optimization on outage driven plans.

Responsibilities for providing engineering/maintenance service for the SMT production area within the Finn Street plant, planning and delivery of the periodic scheduled maintenance service. Continuous improvement and lean management of operations. Leadership of process specialists (SMT process, special processes like selective coating, wave soldering). Leadership of SMT engineers (paste printing, automated placement, Six Sigma and SPC Tools).
