    Acted as “Keeper of the Brand”. Determined optimal positioning and character of brand to align with diverse target audiences across Europe, while balancing global needs in pan-European multi-brand environment. Activated the brand across multiple marketing channels such as retail advertising, internet promotions, charity, sponsorships, product placement, merchandising and co-promotions. Led 2-person team specializing in promotions and motor shows.

    GM Daewoo Europe GmbH

    Served as active member of core transition team evaluating potential acquisition of major Korean manufacturer Daewoo, then part of the start-up team which centralized the brand under a single European control. Managed all marketing during initial start-up including development of long-term marketing plans, budgeting, organization structure, recruitment, and initial strategic marketing plans.

    After sponsoring me at Kellogg, GM sent me on an ex-pat assignment. First - managing the future product research team for Opel and personally conducted all the research for the Zafira. Second - Vauxhall as a local marketing manager. Third - business planning team supporting the GM President of Europe. Fourth - advertising manager with responsibility for creating ad campaigns and re-negotiating the pan-European McCann contract.
