On a day-to-day basis, responsible for performing corrective/preventive Maintenance tasks compliant with Asset Care Schedules and recognized diagnostic procedures to resolve automation asset faults and breakdowns. Identify the root cause of automation asset faults, and improve asset performance maximizing performance and reliability to meet operational processing objectives. Consistently interface with operations, and maintenance management systems to deliver a world class engineering service.

To solely manage the day to day engineering tasks in the process/packaging factory whilst working within strict budget & time limits and to complete the necessary paperwork to the highest standard and also manage my own budget. To organize and supervise contract workers and ensure all work is carried out within strict H&S & food processing rules and regulations. To react quickly to maintain/repair all machinery in a food processing focused factory and keep detailed computerized records. To carry out PPM & Deep clean schedules and procedures for all machinery/equipment within the product-focused factory

Design, Make (or buy), Maintain and improve the tooling/ machinery requirements in a product-focused factory. To ensure that any tool, jig or fixture that requires calibration is done so in a timely manner. To write and implement PPM schedules and procedures for all equipment. As a key member of the lean manufacturing team I had to contribute to and help drive the product-focused factory’s improvement agenda with respect to CI, Problem solving, Kaizen, 5S and engineering changes.
