Command and control of the General Electric grid, including substations, overhead Lines (400/230/66) K.V. Preparation of generating sources work programs, and the exchange of electric power with the public authorities and neighbouring countries in technical economic form. Develop, coordinate and implement strategies and policies to reduce energy consumption. Schedule power plant work efficiently using mathematical and computer software.

[12 hours a week] General laboratory safety training. Guiding and supervising undergraduate students. Answering students’ questions and supervising students during the lab experiments. Grading the lab notebooks and reports. Checking lab experiments in advance to make sure everything is in working order.

Preparation of Electrical procedures for installation, test and commissioning. Reading AutoCAD electrical drawings & Making sure all electrical engineering projects are fit for purpose. Attending meetings on site & Instructing electricians and wiremen. Organising routine servicing schedules. Liaising with and monitoring third party contractors. Attending meetings, writing reports and preparing presentations for managers.
