A now well-funded start-up measuring collaboration within knowledge based organisations. I have been instrumental in founding the company and guiding the strategy. I have also been lucky enough to work with the now CEO Peter Záboji. CX-Ray has some big-name clients such as Microsoft.

Following my previously successful role as Head of R&D, Dealogic opened an office in Budapest to commercialise the most promising R&D projects. I set the overall strategy and oversaw the growth of the new Budapest operation to 220 employees. My role spanned the whole company ensuring the operation came rapidly online and that high quality software products were both developed and commercialised. I also have legal responsibility as the company managing director.

During my previous role as a corporate strategist I unearthed new opportunities for growth within Dealogic. I moved back to London from New York to form a research and development team where I developed advanced prototypes to prove feasibility and get customer feedback.  Built and led a team which created a very advanced natural language and semantic search system, replacing complex screens and dialogs with a simple sub-second search and report.

 Developed post-acquisition models and scenarios for future internal operations.  Created a new product strategy, which changed the strategic focus of the company to pursue and develop a ‘platform for investment banks’ in subsequent years.  Identified synergies with other technological operations and data providers.

Led three large development teams based in London, New York and Hong Kong. The term Big Data was not in common tech vocabulary in 2007 but this is exactly what we were doing.  Created the software which became a new growth business for Dealogic, later accounting for 50% of revenues.  Led teams of experts to create a huge data warehouse and analytical reporting tools for use by customers, created advanced visualisation technology allowing exploration of data.

Led a team enhancing Dealogic’s datacenter (C/C++, Winsock, MFC, OpenGL, SQL Server). Implemented low-level real-time deterministic software in C/C++ and very intuitive yet spectacular visualisations for monitoring purposes in OpenGL.

Developed Dealogic’s datacenter allowing near real-time communication between banks. Implemented a custom sockets server in C++ handling critical transactions, as well as a robust real-time extensible job processing system.
