I do machine learning to find anatomical landmarks automatically. My thesis is a small part of modelling doctors’ knowledge aiming to assist, save time & allow more surgeries. In medicine, doctors use planning tools to prepare surgeries. One part of this planning is to mark specific points in x-ray images. For hip replacements e.g., those points help to calculate the position/size of implants. Selecting points manually for every patient is cumbersome -> Hence a desirable task to automate.

Within this position, I created a model to improve interactive language learning by making use of web documents as vocabulary provider. The proposed system hereby lets learners explore interesting articles, related foreign keywords and readings visualized with mind maps. The keyword recommender system is composed as multilingual word graph, which monitors mean word distances and their POS tags.
