Dr. Benjamin Klotz

In charge of the software and research project BonnCell, in which, in close collaboration with IBM, a tool for the automatic generation of “leaf cell layouts” is developed, an important sub-problem of chip design. Supervision and coordination of 3 to 5 student assistants working on this project. The project is implemented in C++ and makes intensive use of integer programming. Completion of PhD in July 2023 on practical and theoretical aspects of the Bonn-Cell project.

Design and development of individual websites and web applications for small and medium-sized companies and organizations. Backend development with PHP and the Symfony framework. Front-end development in JavaScript using, among others, the AngularJS framework.
