Dr. Bert Vandecasteele

As an account and research director, I service different DACH and international clients, mainly within FMCG and tech & services sectors. My job includes the complete set-up, organization and execution of market research projects up to presenting actionable recommendations to our clients. Next to that, I'm also responsible for external account management, and managing the German team internally (recruitment, coaching, team building, capacity tracking and team profit & loss management).

I service different Belgian and international clients, mainly within the FMCG domain. My job includes the complete content and project management of consumer research projects, next to commercial management of projects (sales). Finally, as an FMCG team lead, I'm responsible for all HR, Finance and Sales related aspects of my team.

During my PhD research, I was marketing assistant, mainly teaching consumer behavior and marketing research related courses. In addition to this I also supervised undergraduate students working on their master thesis or company project.

PhD research on innovative consumers or early adopters, their motivations to adopt, and what kind of advertisements are the most efficient to reach them. This research finally led to my PhD dissertation in June 2010.

I designed and distributed questionnaires to students or staff, and finally analysed and presented the results.
