I have rich experience of 12 years in the IT industry, primarily in IT Application Support area, with a strong focus on telecom BSS and e-commerce. Working in production support has given a deeper understanding of how things work in real life, and have gained valuable insights into the important factors that contribute to running stable IT solutions and building a reliable business through those solutions. I have played various roles throughout career, starting from Technical Support Analyst to Technical Lead, Application Support Consultant, and Service Account Manager. Mobile prepaid and Postpaid charging and online call control there is a platform called IN/OCS. This platform is mainly developed in java by popular product companies like Nokia, Ericsson etc. I worked as Senior Technical Support Analyst on this product originally developed by Nokia and later acquired by Optiva. Primary responsibilities under that role were Incident handling, Problem handling, Deployments, Testing and Monitoring across IN/OCS platform. Here worked with telecom operators in India and Oman.

Ericsson has many telecom customers who uses their IN platform for mobile prepaid charging. 2011-12 Ericson came with proactive monitoring idea on the IN platform. They built their own tool where you can configure and run set of system and application related commands. Tool does analyses of outputs and prepares report in excel. This report will have proactive suggestions or actions which customer should take to avoid future outages or further damages.
