• Supervise the activities of the entire video production team. • Setting up and operating editing facilities in post-production suites • Maintaining specialist equipment for video production, broad- cast and interactive media • Manage activities inside production control room like switching camera feeds using a video switcher • Research and understand IP based studio environment (NDI) and help in the upgradation process • Provide operational and technical expertise to the production

• Create or translate a briefing or script to engaging video output by digitally cutting video & audio in sequence and deciding on what footage to use • Research & purchase relevant video from stock sources • Create a 'rough cut' (or assembly edit) of the video/film and determining the exact cutting and organizing for review and approval • Create and edit basic motion graphics necessary for the video output • Collaborate with internal teams and assist video style direction to production

• Research all the information required for the videos • Shoot the footage using a broadcast/DSLR camera by setting required lighting and audio • Gather or create footage, sound effects and graphics for the videos • Select the appropriate music that will set the right tone / mood for the chosen theme

• Conceive and create fresh original videos related to the news • Edit creatively using non-linear edit software • Execute quick-turn video during large-scale breaking news events and unfolding investigative stories • Operation of video switchers in PCR and DSNG • Perform the finishing steps as needed (audio mixing and color grading)
