Feasibility analysis for LNG-Diesel Large Truck Engine conversion project for SOCAR www.socar.com.tr which is an Oil & Gas company.

Preparation of R&D Program and Budgets. Overseeing product development projects portfolio for Medical Devices and Medical Equipment. Team building activities in line with growth strategy within the newly designed R&D organization. Performance management and Skill development of the people Started and hosted Product Council meetings for coordination between department directors. Achieved dramatic increase in the number of patent applications.

Planned and led the activities of 2.5M$ project for development of Hybrid Electric Buses. Negotiated with system, sub-system, and component suppliers within the course of the program. Planned roadmap for short-term bus hybridization projects down to sub-system level with the project team. Assisted preparation for applications to TEYDEB and SANTEZ government incentive programs. Established the Alternative-Powertrain Engineering team

Established and worked for development of the capacity and capability of a group by assisting hiring process of new engineers and by organizing training courses. Coordinated the activities of an engineering group for structural analysis of newly designed buses and trailers for design verification to shorten the prototype testing phase.

Planned and led “Hybrid Electric Light Commercial Vehicle R&D Project” at Ford which was the first of its kind in Turkish Automotive Industry : The project core team consisted of engineers (2) from Ford, professors (5) and researchers (7) from University (İTU&ODTÜ), researchers (3) from Research Institution (TÜBİTAK-MAM).

Dynamic impact and highly plastic deformation simulations for heavy truck cabinets. Full vehicle computer crash simulations for the evaluation of Light Commercial Vehicle designs with regard to related ECE regulations Analyses of seat structures of heavy and light commercial vehicles, which were implemented for the first time in Turkish Auto Industry. Analyzed the results of the real controlled crash tests of vehicles; suggested design changes and evaluated simulation model validity.

Developed and validated Washing Machine dynamics simulations for minimizing sound and vibration levels. Worked on structural analysis of various parts in household appliances using sate of the art (FEA) software and drove design changes as the analysis necessitates. Led project for the development of two fully functional washing machine prototypes prepared for demonstration in House Hold Appliance Fair “DOMOTECHNICA” 1997.
