Responsible for the delivery of a large integrated system for coastal surveillance. Member of the SIGNALIS Lean task-force, reporting directly to the CFO. Achieved project execution in line with the allocated budget and profit margin and ensured project deliveries during a concurrent design and execution phase.

Responsible for the PMO activities in Germany, including controlling, planning and reporting. During the bid phase, responsible for requirements management and for bid management support. Coordinated the agreement of the ILS and ISS strategies with the Customer. Acting as sub-contractor manager, responsible for setting up the project supply chain. Achieved project financial targets and supply chain cost savings in excess of 10%.

Responsible for a multi-national IPT that delivered a technology demonstrator project for the ASTA P1E main proposal. Coordinated the ASTA P1E bid proposal, including preparation of Bid Management Plan, review of the bid documentation and harmonisation of proposal with partner companies. Planning and risk management responsibilities, accountable for the status reporting for all running projects, including the coordination of deliveries from partner companies.

Responsible for the Integrated Logistic Support for UK, Italy, Spain & Germany markets. Supply Chain Management. Obsolescence Management.

Accountable for several Lean improvement projects related to the production of EF EJ200 components. Achieved 30% reduction on the number of NC’s and promotion to Advanced ME grade. Responsible for a Lean Six-Sigma (DMAIC) improvement project involving a team of 4 persons. Achieved successful project closure with significant savings and a Rolls-Royce Green-Belt accreditation.

Responsible for a R&D project that successfully validated a new research methodology. Achieved project objectives on time and on budget for the first phase that was later recognised with a prestigious science award, the "Prémio Ricardo Jorge de Saúde Pública 2006".

Accountable for a R&D project that successfully developed and validated a diagnostic protocol for High-Throughput Screening (HTS) applications, achieving project objectives on time.
