During my internship at Mindfacts GmbH, I had the opportunity to apply my background in cognitive neuroscience to various real-world projects, particularly within the domains of usability testing and psychological research. Related Achievements: As part of my internship, I had the opportunity to participate in the company’s internal training, CPUX-F certification course, which follows the official curriculum of the International Usability and UX Qualification Board (UXQB).

Included teaching and mentoring two groups of first-year psychology bachelor students in two courses: "Academic Skills" and "Practical Introduction to Research Methods". Tasks included: - presenting and discussing several approaches to proper research conduct - organizing meetings concerning academic writing and presentation - grading essays

Took part in bookkeeping of company finances, writing invoices, and preparing tax declarations. Assisted in proofreading articles to be posted on the company's webpage and other social media. Handled emails and other communication with clients.

Master thesis: an EEG (ERP) study examining the effects of task difficulty on the P300 effect in a probabilistic reward learning task. Past projects: - presentation examining the usage of brain-computer interfaces in locked-in patients - experiment investigating the effects of mental imagery of brightness on pupillary responses - literature review discussing the effects of caffeine on sleep quality

This extracurricular program comprises 45 ECTS of "deepening" courses from my own faculty (25 ECTS) and "broadening" courses from other faculties (20 ECTS). The aim of the Honours College is to provide intensive, hands-on, small-group teaching of like-minded and motivated students from a wide range of backgrounds and across disciplines.
