Multifunctional Materials and Structures combine properties and attributes in one place, for example thermal and acoustic, structural and bio-responsive. They have the capability to sense and to deliver a controlled response. They find applications in most products and services we interact with daily. Conceptualisation and design, along with their manufacture, is the main activity in my Lab.
