Berufserfahrung von Christian Hansen

  • Bis heute 13 Jahre und 1 Monat, seit Juli 2012

    C++ Hana Developer

    SAP

    • C++ core developer of the SAP’s in-memory technology database; HANA – Performance optimization and profiling of the column store – Extensive debugging with gdb (in emacs) and versioning with git • Python test suites implementations (full SQL coverage of the column store)

  • 2009 - 2012

    Fellow

    CERN

    I develop object oriented, modularized, hierarchical and transparent. Thanks to experience in large software communities (like ATLAS and T2K) I write user friendly code and do versioning with e.g. SVN. As the deputy I organized regular meetings at the locations of the different member institutes around Europe and I managed the collaboration webpage, publications and SQL database. I also supervised students, guided visitors as an official CERN Guide and presented CERN at career fairs.

  • 2007 - 2009

    Post Doc

    University of Valencia

    As a neutrino physicist I was working for a long baseline neutrino experiment in Japan called T2K. I was the responsible for the electronics simulation of a detector. I e.g. implemented the detailed simulation and calibration software.

  • 2005 - 2007

    Post Doctoral

    University of Victoria

    As a particle detector physicist I evaluated T2K’s near detector’s efficiency in detecting certain neutrino interaction events. I had a leading role in both T2K’s physics group and in UVic’s International Linear Collider software group.
