Leadership of an int. matrix organization consisting of business architects, business process engineers etc. with >100 members in 80 geographies. Global responsibility for standardization and optimization of procurement processes and business applications as well as the provision of reliable and timely visibility on Procurement data. Drive harmonization and standardization along the merger of Holcim and Lafarge.

Executive management position reporting to the CEO of SIX Financial Information. Overall responsibility for the development including IT project management, software requirements engineering and architecture of SIX Financial Information's global applications that generate reference and market data products with a business area of 5 departments and up to 150 internal and external FTEs as well as 3rd party vendors.

Senior management position, reporting to the head of Global Platforms of Support. Overall responsibility for the development of Roche Diagnostic's globally marketed Laboratory Information Systems, Work Area Managers, and Point-of-Care Data Manager. Leadership for >120 internal and external co-workers in 6 departments with a corresponding development budget.

Department head reporting to the Head of Indirect Procurement. Department included a business support team as well as two asset management offices in Mannheim and Penzberg. Information Management for the Indirect Procurement unit, including the management and coordination of the system and IT support as well as the supervision of the Information Managers and IT Trustees.

Overall management of Ariba Education in EMEA including business, sales, marketing, infrastructure and delivery aspects reporting to the Head of Application Solution Delivery EMEA. Developed and delivered functional and technical courses on Ariba software products (Ariba Buyer, Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Marketplace, Ariba Dynamic Trade) internationally in Europe, the US, Africa, Central & South America to the highest satisfaction of the customer (96% rating).

Developed the IT curriculum for the Physics Department and taught IT courses to students, faculty and staff in the fields of network and communications technologies, telecommunications, Java programming, HTML editing, network operating systems, PC hardware, as well as office applications. Provided multi-disciplinary seminars, workshops, presentations and technical consulting for individuals and institutions on and off campus in the fields of IT, medicine, veterinary medicine, as well as culture & arts.

As head of the network active components group, planned, managed, and implemented customer projects for active network components and provided technical consulting for other departments’ projects. As marketing director, established first directed marketing activities for the company, e.g., customer workshops and seminars as well as corporate identity articles.

Designed, implemented and managed the institute's LAN and PCs. Developed a patient data information management system. Developed student and library administration tools. Conducted research and published scientific papers.
