• Executed a high-visibility (C*O level) new network security architecture rollout. This consisted of extensive device testing/documentation, providing weekly status updates to the senior management team and creating a standardised process for the Operations team to integrate new services within the architecture. • Managed a team focused on migration of applications and services from the old firewall/network architecture to the new architecture mentioned above.

Worked as a Network Security Engineer. Helped administer ipfw FreeBSD firewalls as well as periodic audits and 1st-tier crisis response. Helped administer RADIUS/SecureID accounts. Ran "abuse@netrail.net" for awhile. Eventually had to leave due to company being bought.

Worked in the Network Operations Center at Mindspring maintaining working as 1st-tier technical help with routing and operations issues related to the backbone. Ran proactive monitoring scripts to help check the health of the network to find problems and fix them before they became a problem. Escalated with vendors (And internally) as necessary to get problems resolved.
