Worked as a student assistant at the Institute of Medical Virology of JLU Giessen&TransMIT. My tasks included the research on hepatitis D virus. I tested the efficiency of a HBV/HDV vaccine against HDV (neutralisation assays) as well as the blocking of the viral entry by a synthetic peptide. In addition, I detected the expression of a viral antigen by immunofluorescence microscopy.
