I am the lead analyst for the six main Nordic Banks within the Barclays European Equity Research department. I gather input from mainly CEOs, CFO's and heads of divisions and advice buy-side analysts and portfolio managers globally.

Manager in the Finance and Performance Management practice. Delivered strategy and change management projects to a diverse range of senior executives in mainly investment and corporate banking but also retail banking and payments.

Business area controller. Responsible for the budget, monthly P&L analysis, investment decision support, business intelligence and management reporting.

M&A intern. Intern responsible for research, modelling and presentations. Supported the senior banker advising a German printing press company acquiring a US peer, primarily responsible for relative valuation modelling. Led a search for a target in the German retail industry.

Initially part-time responsible for editing and distributing the Nordic morning product. Promoted to Sales & Trading analyst responsible for Norwegian and Danish companies in terms of morning analysis of key events. Then research summer analyst responsible for drafting initial coverage of a foodstuff retailer. Final position was as equity sales analyst the summer of 2001 responsible for providing the Head of Nordic Equity Sales with a detailed report of the Nordic Asset Mgmt. industry.

As platoon commander I was responsible for 37 soldiers under my command. My duties included planning and executing combat and reconnaissance operations. The nature of the role requires consistent role model leadership, decision making with incomplete information under extreme stress.
