Lead and develop a cross-functional purchasing organization with responsibility for two major product lines in transmission control and oil-based thermal management. Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle from innovation and sourcing through ramp-up to ramp-down and phase-out. Drive supplier performance, risk management, and cost optimization across global supply chains. Act as strategic interface between Purchasing, R&D, Manufacturing, and Business Unit Management.

Supported top management in implementing strategic growth and innovation initiatives. Owned business unit communication and reporting processes to global leadership.

Established and led a local project management organization in South Korea. Directed international acquisition and development projects for Diesel and Hybrid systems. Led a seven-member acquisition team covering ECU, FIE, SCR, sensors, and engine/vehicle application. Drove successful customer acquisition for new powertrain programs, including entry into the US diesel market. Fostered collaboration between Korean and German teams to ensure project alignment and performance.

Managed international acquisition and development programs for multiple diesel engine families (EU4–EU6). Delegated to South Korea to support customer ramp-up and series launch phases. Coordinated cross-functional development teams across SW, mechanics, and application engineering. Achieved a market share of 88% for Bosch in the customer’s diesel engine program portfolio.
