My research target focuses mainly on problems that arise when trying to push resource utilization to the limit. To this point, I consider methods and approaches that mainly come from the Algorithm and the Combinatorial Optimization areas. A bit further, my research copes with algorithms for resource allocation and scheduling in real-time (embedded) systems. The application areas so far include the automotive and the space mission domain.
