A highly experienced Chartered Mechanical Engineer, with over 20 years’ experience in the automotive and associated industries. Responsible for delivering numerous components into production on several major engine programmes. Fully conversant with major OEM: • prototype and production design and release processes • knowledge management systems • quality control and management systems • parts and BOM management processes • programme management processes • failure investigation and issue resolution systems (eg. FMEA, DVP, SDS, 8D, GPDS, APQP). I also have considerable experience in dynamometer-based engine development, lubrication and coolant system development and turbocharger development.
