Responsible for planning, commissioning and execution of electric drive unit (EDU) tests, including: • Provision of a systematic process for requesting, planning and executing tests to replace an ad-hoc approach • Generation of testing standards and specific test procedures • Test planning • Generation of test cell commissioning documentation (eg., schematics, instrumentation lists, instrumentation details, hardware requirements) • Some physical commissioning of test cells • Some “hands-on” testing

• Component design, development, validation and production release within budget and time constraints. • Provision and implementation of a systematic design release process to replace an ad-hoc approach. • Design and coordination of specific tests for component / system integrity evaluation and issue resolution. • Supplier liaison and associated administration. • Also responsible for the integration of the Nexcel system into production vehicles for technology demonstration purposes to OEMS.

• Commissioning of dedicated P & E engines on dynamometer, including extensive troubleshooting • Establishment test programs for engines on dynamometer, • Management of dyno operators’ workload and performance • Analysis of results from dyno testing using dedicated P & E software and Excel, checking of data quality and use of data to investigate and develop engine performance. • Presentation of data and presentation and justification of recommendations made based on data.
