swissbiolabs supports the foundation and location of companies in the diagnostics field. The goal is to develop successful enterprises out of great scientific ideas. The association gets scientists, entrepreneurs, economic experts and investors together and supports the knowledge transfer and entrepreneurship.

I have co-founded and established the Thematic Platform In Vitro Diagnostics (TP IVD) that belongs to the NTN Swiss Biotech. The TP IVD promotes technological innovation in the area of in-vitro diagnostics by providing access to a network of experts. This national collaborative platform also supports project ideas by providing seed money. The TP IVD further enables the translational research by organizing events and company visits.

I have led a team that is focusing on applied development of surface technologies and transfer of these technologies to the life science and diagnostics industry. The position included: - Leading an interdisciplinary team (up to 12 direct reports). - Strategic, personnel, and budget responsibility of the section. - Promote technology platforms to the industry; build up and maintain customer relations. - Reorganization of the Project Office of the Division Landquart. - Deputy Divison Head Landquart.

I was responsible for emerging products. I implemented the roadmap for an electronic prescription tool with a team of internal and external medical experts and built up a team to develop and support it. The position included: - Responsible to draft and implement the strategy of emerging products and services. - Launch and life cycle management of products with budget responsibility. - Plan and implementation of development and support processes.

The position as Senior Product Manager included: - Responsible for the strategy, the development, launch and life cycle management of products and solutions in the segment Cellomics. - Establish strategic partnerships including negotiation of agreements. - Project management of customized projects from the presales phase to the site acceptance test. - Elaboration of innovation guidelines and implementation of processes for the development of standard solutions.

I was leading as Product Manager the segment Cellomics at Hamilton Robotics. The position included: - Responsible for the strategy, the development, launch and life cycle management of products and solutions in the segment Cellomics. - Project management of customized projects from the presales phase to the site acceptance test. - Establish strategic partnerships including negotiation of agreements.

By the end of my active swimming career, I have changed to the pool side and was working as Workshop Director and Staffing Director. This was a an employment besides my studies. Total Immersion Europe offered and conducted swimming workshops in Switzerland and Germany for anyone and especially for triathletes who would like to improve their swim technique. I was leading the water sessions of the workshops. Further, I was responsible to coordinate and plan the assignment of the assistant coaches.
