Strategically and operationally responsible for MRO/IT Supplier Categories for the operations of Petronas in Italy, Belgium and Spain; Responsible for the development and execution of complex sourcing projects, actively interacting with the Regional Category Manager, assuring the project in line with the global/regional strategy, as well as its implantation; Responsible for assuring the correct report of savings, always in line with the applicable procedures.

Responsible for the development and organization together with the inner customers of bidding processes through RFI/RFP/RFQ for strategic categories as health insurance, occupational health, executives health check-up, qualified labor for specific technologies (e.g.: Oracle, SAP), travel & expenses and catering.

Establishes the strategic direction and is accountable for the Latin America’s sourcing and supplier quality organization within Global Workplace Solution. Member of the regional Sourcing Leadership Team. Drives the sourcing strategy across the Latin America’s region to leverage overall spend. Project managed the Sourcing transformation program.

Responsible for sourcing (direct and indirect), materials planning and control (PCM), imports, raw materials warehouse and receipt departments, handling productive/non-productive materials, new projects, services, electronic components imports, managing a team of (7) direct reports (6 in Brazil and 1 in China) and (28) indirect, restructuring the area, training the team, setting goals, drawing up new standards, policies, and procedures.

Responsible for national, international, productive/non-productive and services purchases (MKT, IT, HR, etc.) of the division of Oil& Gas and an Aluminum Foundry, sourcing commodities as aluminum, electric components, plastic, packaging, for the production of luminaries, electricity boards, among other items to be installed on areas with high risk of explosion as petroleum platforms and refineries, managing a team of (2) direct reports.

Working part time as university professor of the bachelor’s degree courses Business Administration and Logistics.
