Responsible for the day-to-day management of this modern concept hotel with full cost control and P&L responsibility. Prior to hotel opening, managed all pre-opening operations to ensure that all business targets were met. Manage all personnel operations and processes, including recruitment, staff appraisals, rota management, training schemes and disciplinary procedures.

Responsible for the daily management of all aspects of the hotel’s business, ensuring the smooth operation of all activities and that a high quality service was delivered at all times. Managed hotel budget with full P&L accountability, including monthly financial statements, resource management and forward planning. Responsible for human resources management across all departments, including recruitment, staff appraisals, rota management, training provision and disciplinary procedures

Responsible for coordinating all revenue management and sales & marketing activities for both hotels, with the aim of increasing revenue and profitability at both sites. Delivered a range of Internet marketing strategies and e-distribution management systems. This raised our profile with Internet customers and improved our standing with 3rd party hotel reservation sites.

As Reservations Manager, responsible for supervising all reservation sales in order to meet competitive targets. Promoted to Revenue Manager, responsible for developing and implementing business strategies to increase sales, turnover and profitability, and therefore meet and exceed performance and sales targets. Performed strategic analysis to optimise sales and ensure our competitiveness in an aggressive market
