Responsible for the development of Emissions in Global turn-key Projects with a German automaker in the premium and high-performance segment. Leading a team of eight colleagues between engineers and technicians, aiming to achieve on such projects the European, north American, Asian, and Brazilian current emissions legislation.

Working on a reference Engineering Center in Germany. Developing calibration engineering on projects to be applied globally, I have been evolved on projects with high technological contends, such as boosted, dual VVT, start-stop, gasoline direct injection and hybrids systems, compliant to restricted emissions rules set on Europe, N.A. and Asian markets, etc. Current activities performed are related to base engine calibration on air path, drivability and torque control calibration sub-areas.

Responsible for coordinate turn-key engine calibration development projects, gasoline and flex-fuel, applied on diverse markets in Latin America and India. Experienced on Bosch and Conti software with customers specifications. Leader of the calibration engineering team at FEV Latin America, Brazil.

Worked on Thermodynamic simulation of DI turbo engine project using GT-Power simulation tool. OBD, misfire, and base engine calibration activities developed for different customers.

Responsible for complete calibration development project of flex-fuel engine 1.5L 16v. Management of project resources, customer interface, reports, calibration activities on dynamometer bench, hot and cold starts, drivability and emissions. Cold Start Calibration with Heated Injector system applied to the 1.8L and 2.0L engine for an Asian customer. Emissions development cooperating with Asian Delphi teams on different engine configurations (1.8L, 2.0L, 16v, IVVT and dual VVT) and diverse Delphi software.

Emissions calibration of 2.4L Gasoline (E25) Engine, to be compliant to previous Brazilian legislation (Proconve L5, OBD-Br2); complete Engine Calibration Projects applied to Motorcycles. Diverse engines (150cm³ a 300cm³); flex fuel, Amazonas, Traxx and Kasinski; internship: Cold Starts and Emissions Development applied to 1.4L Euro, 1.4L NLEV, 4-cylinder GM engines.

Thesis in aerodynamic research area using CFD Ansys Fluent tool. Titled: “Methods of drag reduction and the impacts on the vehicle aerodynamics stability”. Author of Paper “Methods of Drag Reducing without Losing Aerodynamic Stability”, 2011-36-0079, SAE Congress – 2011

Dissertation addressing a Project and conception of a commercial airplane, high wings, two turbo-propellers engines. Material containing airworthiness operation, maintenance provision plan, load capacity, fight autonomy.
