• Responsible for the development and management of multiple projects of varying size and complexity including: • Submission of two highly complex, politically challenging proposals with a total value of over €1 billion for two world scale methanol plants in Venezuela and Iran in partnership with a Japanese technology provider and local companies • Conceptualisation, development and implementation of the world’s first commercial scale (8 MW) methanol to power plant

• Project Manager responsible for the successful development of the world’s largest methanol plant (5,400 mtpd capacity) with a project value of US$ 570 million; from conceptual idea, to technical and commercial project definition, securing of project financing and early phase project execution • Project and business development for natural gas and coal- based industry projects in South America, Caribbean, North and West Africa, Russia, Middle East and South East Asia

• Responsible for the development of a $US 300 million limited recourse financed 1,850 mtpd anhydrous ammonia project from technical definition through to readiness for disbursement of financing • Technical Advisor to the Project Manager of a 1,650 mtpd methanol plant project

• One-year assignment to Germany as Project/Process Engineer providing technical advice during the detailed engineering phase of 60,000 mtpa oxo alcohols plant in Romania • Two-year assignment to Germany as Liaison Engineer providing technical advice during the detailed engineering of a 1,650 mtpd methanol plant in Trinidad • Lead systems engineer on multiple international projects responsible for overseeing small teams of engineers ensuring on time and budget completion of technical documentation

• Responsible for day-to-day operation and administration of representative office, cultivation of market intelligence, identification of business opportunities, proposal assistance and supply of specialised information on Saudi Arabia

• Preparation of process engineering calculations, drawings and specifications • Four-month assignment to Transvaal, Republic of South Africa to support the pre-commissioning, commissioning and successful start-up of a pilot pressurised Winkler coal gasification plant • Eight-month assignment as member of R&D team supporting the commercialisation of natural detergent alcohols technology • One-year site assignment in team responsible for the successful revamp of a wet corn starch plant
