Joined as Operations Engineer for the US launch and the Facebook integration, then founded and led the SRE team. Led Service Availability (networking, security, provisioning, monitoring), then Infrastructure and Operations through the migration from 15,000+ physical servers to Google Cloud Platform. As the first Principal Engineer, led cross-organization projects, kicked off Platform Insights and revamped the VCS/CI strategy.

Led the technical team. Managed developers and systems specialists. Led adoption of a new platform, migration plan, and infrastructure decisions using Open Source solutions.

Managed a team of systems administrators delivering thousands of TB per month. Established work plans and incidence resolution strategies.

Created an in-house infrastructure team (previously outsourced). In charge of high-traffic websites (infojobs.it, infopraca.pl, careesma.at). Designed redundant and scalable infrastructure. Participated in migration from ColdFusion + Oracle to LAMP stack.

Ran a Catalan Slashdot clone for 6 years which became one of the biggest reference websites for technology and free software among the Catalan speaking community.

Co-founded a startup enabling SMEs to access the Internet. Built custom servers running Debian GNU/Linux. Deployed corporate firewalls, mail gateways and application servers. First contact with tech management.
