- Contribution to elucidating the role of a conserved protein in pre-mRNA splicing and genome stability, leading to the discovery of the human homologue NRDE-2 function in the accumulation of DNA damage in cells. - Performed protein purification by TAP approach in vegetative and meiotic cells, as well as cloning experiments to synthesise specific antibodies against the protein. - Prepared mutant libraries by recombination approach and analysed chromosome segregation of GPF-labelled cells by microscopy.
