Dennis Wegendt

I conducted research on innovative coating technologies for electrode production, managed experiments with external partners, and prepared project outlines and funding proposals in collaboration with industry. I also took responsibility for project planning, capacity management, and budget allocation at BMW, and developed a tool to determine battery parameters for all-solid-state batteries.

I conducted research on an industrial robot for additive laser metal deposition with wire feed (L-DED-w). I planned and executed experiments, followed by data analysis for process optimization. I contributed to the development of a dimensionless model to predict deposition geometry and implemented an algorithm for the local adaptation of process parameters to compensate for material buildup.
