Reports to Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Overall responsible for managing the manufacturing operation and achieving organizational objectives. Maintain and operate the plant efficiently to meet organizational targets. Managing the plant's OPEX and CAPEX within the allocated budget for the manufacturing and distribution operations. Develop and motivate the entire staff in the plant to achieve the highest productivity levels. Develop a succession plan for the manufacturing and distribution operations.

Successfully establishing and maintaining the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System (QMS) for all departments and ensure its ongoing efficiency.Get involving and Contributing as an Internal Audit Member to successfully sustain the ISO/IES 17025:2005 Laboratory Management System.Planning, implement and maintain all internal, external audit programs to assure compliance to the standard.Scheduling and conducting management review meetings & review all key process indicators.

Developing and implementing all process, EHS and maintenance-related policies and procedures to control operational management while coaching, training, and giving advice to about 60 workers and contractors in respect of managing the EHS aspects of their day-to-day undertaking. Meanwhile, it is responsible for establishing a robust risk assessment, accident prevention strategies, and maintaining the local EHS regulations to create an accident-free culture.

•Successfully managing the Kaizen Projects on production process & able to reduce the production time. •Supervising the design aspect, safety aspects and leakages testing of drain line modification projects. •Planned, supervised and coordinated daily, weekly and monthly maintenance activities of assistant engineer and his direct reporters. •Supervision & managing the preventive maintenance, safety aspects, legal aspects of boiler and coordinated awareness training for boiler operator.

As a plant EHS Engineer in LAUGFS Lubricants Ltd, developing and implementing all EHS related policies, procedures to control the operational management while coaching,training & advice to about 60 workers, contractors in respect of managing the EHS aspects of their day to day undertaking. Meanwhile, EHS engineer is responsible to establish a robust risk assessment, accident prevention strategies,maintaining the local EHS regulations to make accident free culture.

I extracted lots of Petroleum Engineering stuff and unit operations of process engineering side such as Technological and operational aspects of process equipment and process units covering Crude distiller,Platformer, Visbreaker, Hydrotreaters, Merox units, Unifiing unitsFurnaces, High pressure Boilers, Power generation plant and storage tanks etc. I involved to design a simulation project in Ceylon Petroleum Corporation oil Refinery for Sulfur recovers from waste gases using ASPEN PLUS simulation.

Risk Assessment, Process Safety, Fire Safety, First Aid, Electrical Safety, Construction Safety, ISO 45001:2018 Standard , Chemical Safety, Labor regulations, ISO 14001:2015 Standard, Accident investigation, Ergonomics, Occupational Hygienic, Boiler Operations, Conducting OHS training etc.

•Design, Installation, commissioning, testing & maintenance of Fire detection system, fire suppression system, wet riser and sprinkler system. •Pump selection for protection systems. •BS 5839-1:2013, NFPA international regulation & local regulation.
