I'm responsible for understanding the requirement and identifying suppliers and initiate Quick sourcing project and obtain proposals and negotiate price,payment term etc. Also to expedite the items,assisting the suppliers in resolving the invoice issues. Till now have received multiple recognitions from the Business Partners,leaderships and my Manager.Have received 50 Boeing Pride Points from leadership as a recognition. Been promoted from Procurement Coordinator role to Procurement Agent in a short period.

As a Tactical Sourcing Buyer my prime responsibilities is to get the requirements and research market to get the suppliers and initiate RFx. And follow up obtain quotation, proposals and negotiate price, payment term, Lead time etc.., Also have developed keen interest in Ocean freight business. Have supported international companies in providing pricing and awarding lanes to the carriers. Till now have brought savings of $ 300,000 USD in ocean freight & $ 140,000 USD in Tactical Buying role.

Analyze the requirements, selecting of suppliers, creating and maintaining source list. Creating RFQ and Bid number on SAP tool. Publishing the Bid on SRM tool and following up with suppliers to resolve the queries and to get quotations. Negotiating price, payment terms and lead time. And creating Purchase Order and sending to the selected supplier. And following up with supplier to get the item delivered in time and to make sure the quality is up to the quality standards of the organization.
