GE Power Manufacturing Process Owner. Led x-function teams to define lean manufacturing processes and methods for consistent digitization. Accelerated the manufacturing related product life cycle implementation and alignment towards ERP & Manufacturing Execution System applying the GE Fastworks approach.

Led the global Digital Factory System development & deployment program for efficient part production. Responsible for R&D digital strategy & budget (3-4 M€/y). Provided standardized & integrated PLM/CAD/CAM and shop floor systems, methods & processes. Led the development and industrialization core teams. Managed on & off site first successful roll out of comprehensive & integrated Digital Factory System at Gujarat/IN.

Managed off and on site the Digital Factory ramp up of the green field nuclear steam turbine factory at Chattanooga, TN/USA. International team coordination & technology transfer management.

Heading R&D & innovation budget for the global Engineering and Life Cycle Systems including operations (7 M€/y) in Power Service. Harmonized & implemented global Power Service business specific Life Cycle & Product Configuration management systems and processes. Steered/controlled within management boards the global Alstom Power Life Cycle Management Programs.

Managed & developed European key account customers (CH, D, F, NL) of the electronics & mechanical engineering industry. Sales & commercial responsibility for project revenue goals. Acquisition of new customers together w. license sales manager. Defined, negotiated, concluded customer engineering projects & contracts. Focus: design processes, CAD, Product Life Cycle Mgmt & ERP. Responsible f. project delivery, achieve milestones & rev. forecast. Led Swiss consulting team & project teams in customer projects.

Planned & executed performance acceptance tests on GT simple cycle, GTCC, Oil & Coal Steam and Nuclear Power Plants. Projects in: Europe, USA, Africa. Led project teams, represented ABB/ALSTOM towards customers.
