For the time being I'm involved in design-in projects and customer care projects for HD framerate converters, which are THE key component of 100/200Hz LCD-TVs. I'm caring about the German customers LOEWE, METZ, TechiSat and additionally about B&O in Denmark. This task started in 2008.My daily work requires a in-depth knowledge of motion estimation/compensation as well as very good communication skills.

I was a member of the development team for Telecines at BOSCH Fernsehanalgen in Darmstadt/Germany. I was responsible for the application of so called CCD line sensors which are opto-electronic converters and the first device in the signal processing chain of a telecine. At that time BOSCH was the first company which has a telecine equipment with CCD sensors worldwide. I developed the second generation of the CCD application for this telecines and used a new technology for the signal processing.

During the educatioin at the HAW I had a work experience at "Studio Hamburg" which is a TV program production company. I was employed in the video measurement department, which services the complete video equipment of the whole production plant. This included professional cameras, video tape recorders, mixers, telecines, audio equipment and outside broadcast vehicles. Here I decided to apply for a job at BOSCH Fernsehanlagen in Darmstadt/Germany after finishing my studies at the HAW.
