In my current role as Director, my responsibilities include the leadership of the logistics, IT, Administration and Finance functions and the efficient running of road, sea and air logistics worldwide for those procurement items originating in Asia & Germany. During this period, I have restructured the department; achieved savings of just under 10% introduced a new invoice verification and tracking system and built a very strong, effective and loyal team.

In this role, I led the logistics department and managed the transport ex Asia to worldwide destinations. I successfully transferred common tasks from the finance and administration functions to a shared service centre. I additionally developed and then managed a web based communication platform for global sales, customer service and procurement in both Hong Kong & Germany.

Led a project to change the centralised supply chain (Europe) into a decentralised supply chain network with hubs in Asia, Europe & North America. My achievements included: Development of a start-up distribution centre, based in southern PRC with over 40 worldwide destinations.

Together with a project leader, successfully established a sourcing office in Hong Kong and transferred sourcing volume to the new office achieving significant savings for the Group.

Successfully leading a small enterprise (12 FTE), my prime responsibilities included customer service, project management & procurement. It was in this business I developed an entrepreneurial approach to business.
