My strategic prospecting techniques and negotiating experience assist me in building up and shaping the long-term B2B sales strategy and process for BorderGuru. With this strategy, I approach future client retailers and manage the full negotiation process until the final contract is signed. Furthermore, I support product development by adapting sales material for new product features for existing and new clients.

As a sales manager I was engaged in strategic client prospecting and was mainly involved in the complete negotiating process. I had to build up a long-term B2C strategy and I took care of the B2B client management. Furthermore, doing market analysis and developing an according marketing strategy were part of my key responsibilities.

During my internship I chose to work mainly on M&A cases and intellectual property cases. In those areas of the law I was involved in a different range of tasks including research, advisory, drafting of juridical documents, etc. This internship taught me how to handle certain legal questions from an international perspective, since many cases consisted of cross-border elements.

During my internship, with focus on labour and social (criminal) law, I developed an outstanding problem-solving capacity in more specialised fields of the law. I was faced with many legal challenges in which I had to use my creative mind to come up with an appropriate solution. This kind of more in-depth research and problem solving resulted in a more thorough knowledge of certain subareas of social, labour and even commercial law.

My task consisted mainly of writing preliminary and actual court documents, drafting legal notes about pending legal questions and attending client advisory and mediation meetings. I became familiar with the entire judicial procedure of particular cases, from preliminary discussions to the final trial. This holistic way of being trained made it possible for me to identify my legal errors during the judicial procedure, so I could accordingly improve the quality of my future tasks.
