Lead an editing staff of four, edit ARCOM's "SpecPress" newsletter, and manage special marketing communication projects. Current projects include developing a new style guide, integrating a new product into our editing workflow, and making sure that all our products are delivered on time. Previous positions at ARCOM have been Technical Editor/Workflow Coordinator and Assistant Editorial Director.

Responsibilities: • Managed the work of outside editors, proofreaders, and designers, from the beginning stages of editing through the finished book • Guided authors through the editorial process • Wrote marketing copy for the books I managed • Maintained the schedule of all P&R publications Accomplishments: • Developed spreadsheet that evaluated the financial viability of potential book projects • Streamlined the publication process to reduce time needed to produce a book

Responsibilities: • Coordinated the day-to-day operation of the company’s marketing department, with influence into book titles and covers, marketing strategies, and ad placement • Designed catalogs and advertisements • Managed select national accounts, establishing and evaluating terms of business • Updated and maintained the company website • Planned and/or attended trade shows, conferences, and other offsite meetings
