During my nine-month sabbatical, I embraced the role of a handyman. I dedicated my time to a renovation project at my daughter's and her boyfriend's home in the Netherlands. We undertook an extensive remodel, removing all internal walls, the kitchen and bathroom, and updating the electrical installations. We constructed new walls, installed a new kitchen and bathroom, and refurbished the house with fresh paint and wallpaper. This rewarding experience fostered close collaboration among our families.

Since being founded in 1993, the focus of the KKS has been on the development and production of plug connectors, particularly for the automotive industry. With fully-fledged system expertise, a wide performance spectrum, compact dimensions and low weights, many different variants and low system costs, KKS products will always provide a reliable connection.

The CV segment represents an excellent opportunity for Aptiv to diversify our revenue in an adjacent market. Our technology and product portfolio perfectly matches the key trends in the CV segment. I will work with all businesses - from AS&UX, EDS to ECG, to assure that we leverage our current technology to the CV market.
