Part of a new team stood up to review and optimize designs of Cementing Surface- and Casing Equipment through Value Analysis / Value Engineering.

Looking after the whole portfolio of surface equipment we manufacture and use for delivering wellbore cementing services. That is pumps, tanks, bulk storage, compressors etc. In particular I am looking after getting the next generation of onshore cement pump trailers from nothing to a hopefully as popular product as it Elite predecessor.

The Tech Services team inside the Houston Technology Center provides lab and other support services to the global Cementing operations in Halliburton. My mission was to develop and sharpen the team's mission, raise its profile, optimize its involvement with global management and technical issues and raise morale and capability, and manage the succession of 5 team members.

In my first role in an HR Development environment, I was responsible for the Cementing business' technical training programs and the associated training organization with training centers in the USA, Malaysia, and the UK.

Expanded responsibilities for Business Acquisition and Development and bigger geography following reorganization.

Matrix-managing the engineering functions across the Region and link up the Global Technology functions with the operations in order to deliver technical solution to match our customers' well integrity challenges.

Build up and manage a new way of providing remote engineering support to the cementing operations across the Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa Region.

Technical support and sales and tender work for well cementing services across the North Sea

After leaving Angola, I pursued some self-sponsored development, obtaining an LLM in Oil & Gas Law to complement my hands-on experience with tenders and contracts execution gained during my time with Schlumberger.

In-house support and overall responsibility for delivery of well cementing services to bp's deepwater drilling operations in Angola. In charge of operations support for 1-2 rigs with about 6 people involved in a very difficult logistical environment.

A newly created position to support all ongoing operations technically, manage service delivery process, communicate technology offering to clients and maintain an eye on service quality. Unfortunately the position was not sustainable in a rapidly deteriorating business environment.

Team Leader for well cementing services for Shell UK Exploratio & Production managing 3 engineers, 4 rigs, 8 Field Specialists and a contract that brings home about half the rent.

Based in Aberdeen, Scotland, in charge of coordinating service delivery for Shell in the UK, including technical design, contratcs management, staff supervision and financial processes.

As a Design and Evaluations Services for Clients Engineer in charge of technical planning and performance review while being based in-house with NAM, Shell's Dutch E&P subsidiary in Assen.

Based in Vechta, Germany in charge of sales, techical planning and onsite support for well cementing services across North and Central Continental Europe.

Starting in the well cementing business of Schlumberger in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, I covered all aspects of the business from on- and offshore service delivery over design to client- and supplier relations and QHSE.

Trained in Project Management methods, I supported a project in the Philippsburg nuclear power station beside my studies in university.

During high school holidays, I worked as a vacation replacement in the IT Support department of a major engineering company.
