I played an important role in the development of a platform for optical simulations called IfoCad that is currently being used by our team of 7 researchers and soon will be available for a wider audience. Within the platform I developed the modules that model different types of laser beams and their propagation through various optical systems, which required strong mathematical and algorithmic background. I also initiated and took major part in platform restructuring and redesign.
