Prof. Dr. Fabian Just

Fabian Just is a Professor (W3) for Mental Health Technologies at Ulm University, Germany. His research focuses on intelligent assistive and rehabilitation robotics, combining control engineering, sensing, and machine learning to advance human–robot interaction and holistic rehabilitation.

Fabian Just is a postdoctoral researcher focused on controls, machine learning, and rehabilitation robotics. He is developing the fifth version of ARMin, an arm rehabilitation robot specifically designed with intelligent control strategies to enhance the capabilities of therapists.

I am working at the Sensory-Motor-Systems Lab, in the Institute of Robotics and Intelligent Systems (IRIS) at ETH Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich) on the development of the fifth version of the upper limb rehabilitation robot ARMin. The project is supported by the Clinical Research Priority Program “NeuroRehab” of the University of Zurich and by research grants of ETH Zurich.
