To drive the profitable growth of IOP’s conference proceedings journals through the successful commissioning and management of new proceedings volumes, the retention of existing customers and the development of strategies that will support the successful development of the programme.

Working as one of three editors in T&F’s fast-growing China program, responsible for conducting subject area research and commissioning high quality content in Education, Psychology, Anthropology and Literature, in close liaison with authors, series editors, societies and institutions. Managing vast number of book projects at different stages of publishing and providing support for authors in terms of book proposal preparation, peer review, and contract negotiation.

Orientations is a semi academic journal for Asian art collectors and connoisseurs originally founded in Hong Kong. My responsibilities included copy-editing, manuscript translation and preparation, image rights clearances, liaison with authors, external consultants, vendors, copy right holders and our digital publisher CNKI. Also assisted my colleague to run the social media account.

I was involved in a very interesting project that aims to digitize and preserve ancient manuscripts from the archaeological sites along the silk road. Managed records in the British Library database for over 1000 pieces of manuscripts.

Working at Sir Winston Churchill’s family home, I was responsible for conservation cleaning and preparation of objects for exhibition. Also monitored environmental conditions such as relative humidity, temperature and light in the historic house.
