Research Project on Macroporous SiOC-carbon-based composite as anodes for Microbial Fuell Cells technology at University of Bremen.

-Failure analysis of pumps components. -Polymeric materials characterization by Thermal Analysis such as FTIR, TGA, TMA and DSC techniques, and corrosion testing. - Follow up of fabrication process (machining), thermal treatments and nitriding of steel parts. - Metallographic characterization of different alloys.

Research project on "Methodology for assessment of damage and recovery treatment of gas and steam turbines used in thermal power plants". Research project on Maraging steels and Aluminum alloys. Preparation and characterization of metallic samples with Optical Microscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy (STEM) and Dilatometry (DIL) techniques. Accomplishment of tensile and hardness testing and heat treatments.

-Production support and productivity reports. -Failure analysis related to forging process. - Preparation and characterization of forged steel samples through metallographic technique. - Research project on the causes of the Lüders bands.
