Filipe Marques

Working as a researcher in the Solar Energy Laboratory. Main work in INIESC - National Research Infrastructure on Solar Energy Concentration - in the project to build a solar power tower infrastructure. I've also created a database for the measured sun data records and I developed a python library to import measured data to the database, to perform data quality analysis, and to perform statistical analysis. I'm also developing an app in Django as a GUI for the library.

I was a researcher at Vivcool: a project to build a prototype air-conditioner powered by solar energy. There I researched solar adsorption and solar absorption refrigeration technologies. My main research work was in modelling and simulating two-phase ejector-pumps in the context of ejector-absorber cycles, mainly solving the problem of pressure recovery in two-phase critical flow, which culminated in a Doctoral Thesis.

My research work was in the study of the ejector pumps application in refrigeration cycles, specially ejector-absorber cycles.

I was responsible for the production of content in Physics on the subject of Energy for the educational website e-escola.
